About the Author

Professor Jack Weiner

Professor Jack Weiner taught at the University of Guelph from 1974 to 1976. He spent the next five years at Parkside High School in Dundas, Ontario. In 1982, he was re-recruited by Guelph and taught there till his retirement in 2011. The winner of many teaching awards, Jack is particularly gratified to have been the University of Guelph Central Student Association Teacher of the Year In 2007. For nine years in its annual University Issue, Macleans had a "popular prof" section. Jack was on the list eight years out of nine!
