ABOUT EDITION 3 CO-AUTHOR GORD CLEMENT
Gord Clement is an Ontario high school mathematics teacher, currently with the Upper Grand District School Board. He completed his undergraduate degree in mathematics at the University of Guelph in 2010. He earned his Master’s degree in mathematics in 2011, working with Jack as his advisor. Throughout his time at the University of Guelph, Gord worked closely with Jack to help improve the first-year honours calculus sequence. Jack says, “I was thrilled when Gord came on board to co-author the third edition of the MSK. He is a superb, insightful teacher. I’m honoured to say he has transitioned from my student to my good friend and colleague.” Gord is now a father of two!
